Rivals.com/Running the Bulls is looking to add several contributors to our team over the next 2 weeks.
We are currently looking for interns who want to be writers for the upcoming College Football season.

Running the Bulls is the premier pay-site for South Florida Bulls athletics covering football, basketball and recruiting. We have a staff of employees who are experts in each field, and we provide the most consistent coverage of those fields especially recruiting.

-Previous writing experience is a plus.

Available Positions & Responsibilities
College Football Writer -We are looking for someone to cover USF football practices and games with the assistance of our current employees. Weekly features and practice updates based around the student’s schedule and breaking news as it comes.
Compensation
This is an unpaid internship. If your school will allow class credit, then we will follow whatever procedure the school requires. We are looking not only for interns but writers who want to grow with the company. If things go well, it could turn into a paid position.

Marrow Mates needs interns

Marrow Mates is hiring undergraduate students for internships for class credit. Marrow Mates is an organization that helps bone marrow recipients work with patients about to go through the process.  Our goal is to be able to take the anxiety out of the procedure they’re about to go through.

Job Duties

 

  • Write press releases or assist with press releases for upcoming events.
  • Research and write grants seeking donations.
  • Graphic design work including creating advertising and media brochures.
  • Create basic documents as needed.

Qualifications:

 

  • Student at USF.
  • Prefer students pursuing a degree in communications, public relations, advertising, journalism, marketing, business, photography, graphic design, or other external relations degree. Strongly preferred but not a requirement.
  • Ability to work 5-15 hours per week. You would be able to work from campus or your own location.
  • Prefer knowledge of AP Style, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Microsoft word and excel softwares.
  • Must be able to work independently at all times.

National Diversity Council seeks virtual intern

This virtual position is responsible for assisting the Council’s Regional Director, Coordinators, and other staff members with the administration and coordination of the following major categories of internal operations and organizational activities. The Intern reports to the Manager of Training, Development, and Regional Operations, with direction from other National Diversity Council staff.
Primary tasks include:
Communications
• Promote Council events through communications to various groups already involved in the Council, as well as those who could be potentially interested in participating
• Distribute communications to various email list-serves for chapter meetings, events, and conference calls
• Draft articles – such as pre-event, post-event, and coverage pieces – for the Council’s
quarterly newsletters
Social Media
• Promote events through social media outlets (i.e., Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.)
• Create weekly blurbs to help promote Council events and initiatives, as well as diversity and inclusion stories taking place nationally and globally
• Update pictures on social media sites accordingly
Activities & Events
• Conduct research, primarily on LinkedIn and Google, for potential speakers, award recipients,
and contacts in specific Council locations
• Conduct research on organizations that might be interested in becoming more active in the Council
• Help organize Council events
• Help organize logistics for chapter meetings
• Submit website requests to the web team
• Submit graphics requests to the graphics team for event flyers
Administration
• Update data and submit web, graphics, and communications request via Salesforce
• Coordinate conference calls and meetings based on different people’s schedules
• Update documents as needed
• Update email list-serves and excel spreadsheets as needed
• Record meeting minutes and conference call minutes as needed
Requirements
• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
• Must be able to commit to at least 1 year of internship service. *Note that this time frame is not definite and will depend on the intern’s performance in the role.
• During work hours, must have access to a computer with: Outlook, Excel, Word, and
internet/wifi.
• Must be able to work very efficiently with little supervision, given that the role is virtual

Miserandino.com is looking for an entry level marketing person. The applicant will need to have a good knowledge of social media as well as online marketing. Every month we take on new clients and take different marketing approaches with them.

The applicant needs the ability to work independently and follow and track their work.

TheCelebrityCafe.com and FashionWeek.com are seeking interns for spring.

We are looking for students who have original ideas and can work independently for our online program. Excitement over interviews and social media conversations, especially via music reviews, is a big part of what we’re looking for in interns.

We do require academic credit for a student to qualify for our program.

This is a virtual workplace, but weekly staff meetings are required.

Interns will have weekly assignments.
