Summary
Our diverse team here at McKay Advertising+Activation (MA+A) is looking to bring on a Collegiate Sports: Content Marketing + Social Media Intern for the 2019 Fall months. The goal is to expand our College Sports initiative for a branch of our company called MA+A Sports. We are seeking an AVID sports fan who is constantly up to date with the latest news, trends and updates.
At McKay Advertising + Activation we integrate advertising into revenue. We provide data and strategyforward consulting for our clients, and we take a digital-first approach to daily challenges.

Time Commitment:
• Min: 15 hours per week
Duties & Responsibilities
• Accurately tell stories that are both engaging and informative
• Create weekly content for MA+A Sports (Blogs, Email marketing, social media)
• Create and manage MA+A Sports Social Media
• Research college sports trends & updates to make informed decisions for content.
• Perform any additional duties that may fall within the scope of internship

BullsVision seeks interns

BullsVision is looking for driven interns looking to get their start in the sports media world. An internship with us is one of the best ways to learn how to shoot, edit and produce sports content and live events.

 

The experience you’ll get from your time with us will set you up to be ahead in any broadcast or creative video courses you may take and more importantly, give you the skills you need to succeed upon graduation.

 

Here’s a brief FAQ on our department:

 

 

What is BullsVision?

 

We are the video production team of USF Athletics located in the Lee Roy Selmon Athletic Center.

 

What do you do? 

 

  • Produce all USF live sporting events in several on-campus sports venues and in Raymond James Stadium. We shoot the event with in-house cameras that are wired for videoboards.
  • In addition to USF live-events, we shoot with our own state-of-the-art cameras for creative content.
  • Create a wide-ranging amount of video content about our teams made for social media. This can range from hype pieces for many programs, workout videos, feature-length stories, game day recaps and more.

 

What do you use to edit?

 

All of our content is made using the Adobe suite installed on different workstations in our office.

 

What do you shoot with?

 

We’ve recently bought a lot of fun gear. On game days, our creative cameras can be a Sony FS7, Sony FS5, Sony A7SiiA7iii, and we also have two Canon EOS 6Ds with a wide range of lenses for all of our cameras. We have many great accessories to accompany these cameras such as two Ronin-S stabilizers.

 

I don’t know how to shoot or edit, can I still become an intern? 

 

YES. Learning is what an internship is about, right? We’ll teach you the fundamentals of editing and shooting and with enough repetition, you’ll become a veteran.

 

What would my workload be as an intern?

 

We work with your class and work schedule to be flexible and ensure you’re not overloaded with events but enough to see you on a regular basis. The most important thing to know is there are plenty of weekend games over the course of a semester. Sports is a ton of fun to work but it’s not a 9 to 5 job! While we can be very flexible with scheduling, reliability and dependability are things we really value, so we can plan knowing you’ll be somewhere when scheduled.

 

Can I do on-camera work? 

 

We focus on the production side of sports, not the on-air side. However, we are happy to provide editorial and technical feedback on any on-air work you create on your time.

 

Do I need to know about sports?

 

No, but it’s encouraged that you come in with some knowledge if possible.

 

Can I do this for credit?

 

Yes, we accept 1, 2, or 3-credit internships with mandatory hours depending on how many credits you choose. Speak to Wendy Whitt for more information about the deadline to submit a form for credit.

 

Darn, I’m reading this after the start of a semester and can’t do it for credit. Am I out of luck?

 

No! We accept volunteers at any point in the semester and encourage you to drop by to get your feet wet.

 

Can I do this for only one semester?

 

No, we highly encourage you to return semester over semester, either as a volunteer or for credit. It helps build a rapport between you and our team, we trust you with our gear, assign you bigger projects and above all, you get much better at the craft.

This is an unpaid internship. If your school will allow class credit, then we will follow whatever procedure the school requires. We are looking not only for interns but writers who want to grow with the company. If things go well, it could turn into a paid position.

Communications Internship (Fall 2019/Spring 2020 Semesters)
As a communications intern, you will closely work with the Communications and IT team in promoting and supporting the Hillsborough County Bar Association’s events, programs and outreach
efforts.
Primary Responsibilities
• Assist with social media posting and brainstorming, and basic video production
• Produce event flyers and simple graphics
• Assist with website and weekly e-newsletter updates
• Draft short articles and content for Lawyer magazine and proof-read magazine content
• Draft news releases and other collateral
• Assist with event logistics, including taking photos, helping staff with check-in and event setup

KEM Media Group is a local publisher of eight glossy monthly magazines. We are seeking an intern for Fall 2019 to perform writing, research & event photography duties for our magazines.
Responsibilities Include:
Research hyper-local events happening in our magazine communities which typically occur in Pasco County. Upon Editor’s approval, intern will attend the event, take professional photographs and provide a brief editorial regarding the
event. Typically 4-6 events per month. Potential for additional photography & writing opportunities available.
Research & develop events / happenings in our communities and create our monthly calendar for the print publications that will include a byline. Make suggestions for social media shares based on these as well.

RS&H: Writing/Communications Intern

We are currently seeking a multitalented, part-time Writing/Communications Intern to join us during Fall 2019 preferrably in Tampa but will consider candidates in Jacksonville, FL as well.

Gain firsthand experience and flex your creative muscles with this unique opportunity to become part of a robust marketing and corporate communications team for one of the nation’s leading architecture, engineering and consulting firms. You’ll be collaborating with a highly creative and collaborative team of writers, digital/communications strategists, marketing specialists, graphic designers, public relations specialists, and other communications and creative staff. Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and oral communication, listening, and proofreading skills (grammar, punctuation, etc.).

Interested in working in sports media? Covering high school sports is a great way to start! WTurner Productions is looking for driven individuals that have a passion for sports. We are searching for multimedia journalists, photographers, videographers and writers to help our high school sports coverage in the 2019-20 school year and beyond. No experience is required, but it is recommended.
