Company Description:     As an integral part of USF’s external relations the graphic design team works to develop design solutions for the USF Athletic Department. Position:                         USF Athletics is looking for creative interns who are interested in gaining experience designing in the fast-paced sports industry. This internship program will give you the opportunity to use and further develop your design skills in order to create a competitive portfolio.

Description:                   –Work with full time design staff from start to finish on design projects

      -Develop a competitive sports design portfolio

-Work with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and Premiere Pro to complete high-level professional content

      -Support full time staff with the Creative Direction process

      -Gain sports industry experience

      -Opportunity to gain in-game experience

Requirements:              –Working toward a degree in graphic design or related field

      -Access to Creative Cloud

      -Proficient in Adobe Suite

      -Understanding of layout and typography

      -Creativity

    our program’s story through original and engaging content.
  • We’re looking for someone who is passionate about USF and building our
    football players’ brands. We’ll give the creative freedom to take
    concept to film and provide the framework to be successful
    without dictating the nuts and bolts of the content.

  • Compensation – Unpaid internship with the opportunity to be
    paid in the future; class credit is available as well. Looking for 10-20

Interns in this program will work in teams and partner with businesses striving toward B Corporation certification – a seal of social and environmental responsibility for businesses. In a nutshell, B Corp Certification is to businesses as Fair Trade Certified is to coffee and USDA Organic is to apples. TBAE seeks interns

Are you interested in getting real-world experience in the media field? Then apply to be an intern at Tampa Bay Arts and Education Network (TBAE) this Fall Semester! TBAE is looking for self-motivated and hard working students to join our team. Every TBAE intern will leave this internship knowing what it takes to be a professional working in television. They will also learn to produce and edit their own promotional video or PSA to use in their professional reel. TBAE offers students two different tracks to choose from as their internship focus.

 

Pre-Production, Distribution, and Marketing Intern:

  • Write and execute a script
  • Execute social media during LIVE taping of programs
  • Learn Marketing Skills on how to promote original programming
  • Gain teleprompter skills
  • Learn Floor Director Skills in TBAE’s state of the art studios
  • Learn video production and editing skills
  • Create email campaigns to market TBAE

 

Video Production/Editor Intern:

  • Write and execute a script
  • Gain teleprompter skills
  • Learn to set up camera and lighting equipment in TBAE’s virtual production studio
  • Technical Directing in TBAE’s Master Control during productions
  • Train on live multi-camera productions in the field
  • Interns will be trained in Adobe Photoshop
  • Edit video using Final Cut X software
  • Cut and edit public service announcements (PSA’s) and program episodes.

 

Safety Practices:

To protect our staff and interns everyone is required to wear a mask when in the office. Interns will also get their own desk to avoid sharing computers. In order to avoid large groups and limit time spent in the office we have also incorporated virtual learning to our internship program. Interns will communicate using Google Docs and participate in three Zoom trainings listed below:

  • Lighting Composition and Videography
  • Intro to Wirecast for Production

Florida Holocaust Museum seeks interns (video)

Interns will be responsible for creating short (2-3 min. long) videos to be used in The FHM media campaign for our Anne Frank Humanitarian Award program using assets recorded by FHM staff.  Additionally, interns will assist the Education Department with the creation of short education videos, assist with adding content to the Museum’s virtual tour, and will edit Holocaust Survivor testimonies and create short films with them, adding images, maps, text, etc…

Knowledge of Adobe Premier for video editing would be optimal as this program is already purchased by The FHM.

The intern positions are available now and would be ongoing. The AFHA project would be completed by September, however, additional projects would allow for continued or new internship positions for the fall semester.

·        Learn the fundamentals of studio and on-location production, such as lighting cinematography, audio, etc.

·        Assists in studio projects, which will include setting lights, diffusions, rigging, camera(s) and additional elements as needed.

·        Assists in on-location projects, which will include working alongside professionals and clients. Practical experience with lighting, rigging, cinematography, unloading, set terminology, safety and more.

·        Perform any other duties as assigned.
