EPC is now accepting applications for Fall 2019
The Environmental Protection Commission of Hillsborough County (EPC) is accepting applications for our Internship Program. The EPC is a local government agency established to protect the environment and natural resources of Hillsborough County. We have multiple regulatory programs (air, waste, water, and wetlands) and environmental monitoring and restoration programs.
The EPC hosts and mentors interns mainly in the fields of biology, law, GIS, engineering, chemistry, information technologies (MIS), environmental sciences, and marketing. Opportunities exist for experience in our lab and/or in the field learning about natural resource protection, permitting, compliance assistance, and community outreach. For a look at the various opportunities which may be available, please go to our internship/volunteer web page by clicking the Learn More button below.
EPC internships are unpaid; however the opportunity to work side-by-side with environmental professionals can be invaluable. Please encourage your students to visit our website, www.epchc.org, and our social media outlets on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube to learn more about the EPC.
