COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR: The Florida Department of Citrus seeks a versatile and strong communicator with one to three years’ experience to create content and provide support for a wide variety of programs and activities to promote and publicize Florida Citrus products in support of the Florida citrus industry. The position works directly with the Assistant Director of Global Marketing in the areas of media relations, industry relations, public relations, marketing, content development and website management. The Communications Coordinator is responsible for writing, editing and proofreading Department-wide publications for both internal and external use. Publications include but are not limited to press releases, newsletters, meeting recaps, web content, advertorials and blogs. The position may be called upon to represent the FDOC at industry meetings and events and is responsible for building and maintaining relationships within the citrus community. This position offers ample opportunity to gain additional experience in all aspects of public relations in an integrated team with an all-hands-on-deck mentality. This is the perfect fit for someone who thrives on deadline, can juggle multiple projects simultaneously, is naturally curious and eager to learn.

MARKETING COORDINATOR: The Florida Department of Citrus seeks an ambitious individual with one to three years’ experience to join its innovative and skillful global marketing team. This position works directly with the Director of Global Marketing to provide support for domestic marketing programs aimed at increasing awareness and driving sales of Florida citrus products. The ideal candidate is looking for an excellent opportunity to gain experience in all aspects of marketing for a global brand, with responsibilities in e-Commerce, retail/shopper marketing, social media, influencer partnerships, paid/digital advertising, performance marketing, content creation and brand development/management. This position coordinates all retail marketing and public relations programs in Canada with FDOC agency of record in country. The Marketing Coordinator must be an individual driven to expand core knowledge and for whom every task is an opportunity to learn in a goal-forward environment. This position is the perfect fit for someone who controls deadlines while juggling multiple projects of priority.
