USF Athletics Communications is looking for students to work game days throughout the spring, including basketball, baseball and softball in a social media or statistics keeping capacity
Students are utilized by USF Athletics Communications to assist with social media responsibilities or statistics keeping. These students would serve on game days as they are available. This is an unpaid opportunity for USF students interested in working in sports.
Tasks include: running USF sport accounts’ Instagram stories during games, taking shot charts for basketball, assisting with official stats for baseball and softball, running stats, etc. This is a great opportunity to learn the behind the scenes action of college athletics, network with industry professionals and gain real experience.
Students sign up to work games around their schedule and are trained at their first events. Meals are provided at most games. Opportunities for growth or continuing on past the spring semester are available.
Interested students should send a resume and a statement of interest to assistant director of communications, Lorie Garnett, at email@example.com. Selected students would begin immediately and continue through the spring semester or into summer if desired.
