Marketing and Communications Internship

CAS Development and Alumni is looking for a driven, innovative communicator!

The USF College of Arts and Sciences Office of Development and Alumni Engagement is looking for a ZSAMC student who is passionate about USF and the College of Arts and Sciences, and who wants to make a lasting contribution to the college through communications with CAS alumni and donors.

We’re looking for a driven, ambitious individual who wants to enhance their communication, writing and content marketing skills. We offer a flexible schedule and fun work environment. Position Description

Position responsibilities: Assist the CAS Development and Alumni Team with communications efforts by writing content for the website, interviewing alumni and donors, taking photos, editing and working on website and development projects. The intern(s) will be responsible for updating the CAS website content and photos and also contacting alumni and donors on behalf of the college.

Requirements: Strong writing skills, digital marketing and graphic design experience preferred. Able to multitask and meet deadlines. Proficiency in grammar. Some experience in customer service or relationship building.

Desired skills: Interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

The assignments you will be working on will allow you to develop relationships with CAS faculty, staff, alumni, and donors, providing ample networking opportunities. Best of all, you will be mentored by a development team who has more than 30 years of experience. We make our own coffee.

Hours: 10-20  r week
Credit: Subject to department approval
Pay: No, but you will gain work experience and can enjoy free snacks and coffee!
